Welcome to the 2025 Hallowell Hurricane season!

Job descriptions are also available on the website. When you sign up, please make sure you are aware that A meets are on Saturday mornings and B meets are on Wednesday evenings. Coaches seed the A meets, meaning they pick the swimmers and the events they will swim. Generally speaking, coaches pick the fastest swimmers in each event for the A meets based on their times and the entries will vary from week to week. If you don’t think your child will be swimming in an A meet, please do not sign up to volunteer at an A meet.

Please keep in mind that the end times are estimates! We can’t accurately predict exactly when meets will end.

There are TWO required events: Time Trials and Intrasquad/Senior Night. If you have a swimmer at those events, you MUST sign up to volunteer.

Returning families: 18 points

New families: 12 points

Families with ONLY pre-team swimmers: 6 points

*Pre-team ONLY families will get a separate email with volunteer opportunities.

Drink Donations

Please label all drink donations with your swimmer’s last name. You can drop off your drink donations at the pool in front of the outside supply closet starting Tuesday, May 27th. We will begin with the 2nd half of the alphabet this year.

If your last name starts with A-L: We will be asking for drink donations once the season gets underway!

If your last name starts with M-Z: Please consider donating either a case of 20 oz. sports drink (like Gatorade) OR a case of 12 oz. sports drink and a case of water.
